The Registered Onsite Wastewater Practitioner (ROWP) program currently has 525 certified members.  New applications for initial certification continue at a steady pace. ASTTBC typically receives 4 – 6 new applications per month.  We have seen an increase in applications for Maintenance Provider and Private Inspection certification, but there remains a shortage in those categories in some areas of the Province.

A revision to the Onsite Wastewater Certification Board Policy was approved in January 2017.  ROWPs and potential applicants are encourage to review the new Policy and associated ROWP Practice Guidelines at owrp.asttbc.org.
