So far this year, WCOWMA-BC has hosted three site and soil evaluation field days: Courtenay, Kamloops, and Scotch Creek. Over 45 students have attended these sessions. These training workshops provide information on assessing soil structure and texture, assessing site conditions and constraints, logging information and applying that knowledge to the design of onsite systems. WCOWMA and its provincial chapters are undergoing some long-overdue updates to our websites. The website build is coming along nicely and we will be moving from the ‘construction’ phase to the ‘editing’ phase in the next couple of weeks.
