The BC Water and Waste Association presents a professional development webinar on \’The Future of Utility Master Planning in the Era of Aging Infrastructure.\’

This webinar will be presented live by David Main, ‎Director of Asset Management at AECOM.

What will you learn at this event?
1. How to approach master planning, before you even begin.
2. What the primary drivers for utility costs are, both now and in the future.
3. What revenue and funding differences exist among annual capital costs and operations and maintenance costs.
4. Why funding the replacement of infrastructure will be difficult (and expensive).
5. How your master plan can support your stakeholder education and communication program.

This presentation will show that the utility master plan of the future (which is really needed now) must include a fact and evidence driven process to estimate and forecast infrastructure renewal needs in association with capital demands from growth and regulatory compliance.
