If you live in the Greater Victoria Area, you might be interested in the FAWG meetings being held by Michael Payne, with the assistance of Tara Stott from the CRD.

A meeting is held once every two months on a Friday afternoon.  FAWG breaks for the summer, meeting a total of 5 times over the year.  The formal part of the meeting lasts 60-90 minutes, and participants often retire to a nearby pub afterward.

It is mainly just an opportunity to connect with others in the business without a major commitment, maybe learn a thing or two, and share a drink and \”stories from the trenches\”.
