Prince George Training

WCOWMA-BC hosted the six day Onsite Wastewater Practitioner Training Program along with a Site and Soils Field Day in Prince George in June. Participants from across the province attended and completed the training which allows them to obtain their ROWP Installer and Planner Stamps.

Additional training to the six day course was the field day where students were able to apply the theory learned in the classroom to a live site. Following site and soils evaluation technique demonstrations from the instructor, students were able to get into the test pits and perform their own evaluation and complete their own soils logs. The soils sites were excellent, exposing students to a variety of soils, some of which are not commonly seen.
