Project Management Workshop

This highly-interactive workshop enables participants to understand foundational project management techniques and allows the attendees to apply the tools and templates that will be introduced in this learning event. Case studies, exercises and discussions are industry-based, therefore, professionals who work in onsite in decentralized wastewater environments will be able to immediately use the content that will be introduced in this workshop. Participants will have the opportunity to customize their templates and tools and use these in their jobs right away.

A workshop will be held on March 8, 2017, just prior to convention.

Training

WCOWMA-BC provides excellent training opportunities for those working in the onsite wastewater industry, whether already engaged in the industry or planning to enter it. The Onsite Wastewater Practitioner Training Program provides a solid base for those wishing to work as Planners and/or Installers.

This program is recognized in the Western Provinces through the New West Partnership (formerly TILMA) and federally through the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).

Additional field and classroom training sessions are available for continuing education purposes. For information on upcoming training opportunities, contact the WCOWMA-BC office.
