Rebates for proper maintenance of septic systems will be coming to the North Shuswap, South Shuswap and rural Sicamous areas.
At the June 19 CSRD board meeting, directors voted to approve a rebate program that will allow homeowners in four electoral areas to apply for funding for septic system maintenance.

WCOWMA-BC provides excellent training opportunities for those working in the onsite wastewater industry, whether already engaged in the industry or planning to enter it. The Onsite Wastewater Practitioner Training Program provides a solid base for those wishing to work as Planners and/or Installers.
This program is recognized in the Western Provinces through the New West Partnership (formerly TILMA) and federally through the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
