Detroit Lakes, MN – October 10, 2016 – SJE-Rhombus®, an industry leader in providing quality control solutions for water and wastewater applications, introduces the SJE Mega-Master™ control switch designed for municipal applications.
The SJE MegaMaster™ is a mechanically-activated internally weighted control switch. The internal switching mechanism features unique gold cross-point contacts, providing precision and reliable control signals up to 1 amp. The large twin wall tear drop shape design offers increased buoyancy. The two-color float housing provides easy identification of float position.
The switch features 3 wire cable (SPDT – Single Pole, Double Throw) allowing it to be wired to work in either normally open or normally closed applications. When wired as normally open (high level), the control switch turns on (closes) when the switch tips slightly above horizontal, signaling a high level; and turns off (opens) when the switch drops slightly below horizontal. When wired as normally closed (low level), the control witch turns on (closes) when the switch tips slightly below horizontal signaling a low level; and turns off (opens) when the switch tips slightly above horizontal.
Common applications include lift stations, non-potable water, PLC (programmable logic controllers), intrinsically safe, and applications with a high grease content. The SJE MegaMaster™ control switch is CSA Certified and backed by an industry-leading five-year warranty.
