Drought is Destabilizing Soil
A homeowner in Rolla, BC underwent a shock when she fell into an old septic tank on her property. She and her husband had no idea the decommissioned tank was there, until the recent droughts destabilized the soil and the ground gave way.
Thankfully, she was able to reach a chair just outside of the tank entrance, which she used as a makeshift monkey bar until help arrived twenty-minutes later.
